About 50.29% of Nigeria’s total population is aged 0-14 years. This implies that we have almost as many children as we do adults and aged people. It is however expedient that these children are not left out in our plans to propagate the gospel of Christ.
Apart from the generic approach employed by the church in creating the children’s arm of ministry which caters to the spiritual and social needs of the little ones, it is important that we also employ more specific and strategic approaches, suitable for their age range, to ensure that the children truly get saved and that church is not just about activities for them.
Beyond the four walls of the church, there is also a need to intentionally reach out to children outside the household of faith with the gospel of Jesus Christ using the best means possible that they will understand and find relatable.
